Soap and staples
My belated birthday-and-christmas present arrived from Freiburg, Germany .. from my best friend from home who is in med school over there.

I think that stapling technique is innovative and I plan on binding my dissertation in a similar fashion. I hope s/he got bonus points for their clear 'eff you' to the status quo.
